Q - What is emptunes?

A - Well, emptunes is essentially a virtual record label / online
file repository. It is the musical branch of a much broader and
larger online community known as The Empyreans, who originally
formed as an online gaming organization in 2001.

Q - Why now?

A - After five years of lacking a central access point to all of
our music, I [Diz] finally decided to spend a few bucks to organize and
coordinate the past, present, and future works of several artists
within the Empyreans collective. It seemed necessary at this point.

Q - So who the hell are the Emps and why should I care?

A - Since 2005, the Empyreans have been steadily producing
hit records from their hidden bunker buried beneath the ruins of
Machu Piccu. While always striving to provide doper lyrics and
deeper grooves than previously considered safe for human consumption,
the Emps have continually remained elusive from the public eye.
The Empyreans have never performed live and most of the music is
produced through remote correspondence via email or over voice
conferencing (VOIP) software such as Ventrilo.

Q - Anything else?

A - Naaa... However, we're always looking to collaborate and expand our
portfolio. We don't post news updates here or blog or anything of
that nature, so please take the time to check our site for new music
every once in a while. Any comments, concerns, complaints, or questions
